Big station, but only basic services
The Buchanan Bus Station is the main bus station in Glasgow. It is in the center of the city and is easily accessed by foot if you go up the pedestrian street Buchanan. It's a big station but only offers basic services. There is a very expensive cafe, a convenience store, newspaper and bus information stand. The Scots have a very special and strong accent, so if English isn't your first language you better take a booklet to read the bus schedule! There is a bathroom that you have to pay to enter, but in the back of the station there is a smaller one that is free. Buses go to the whole north of Scotland, London, Manchester and to the south.
