13 reviews of Franz Kafka Monument

Complicated by deeply human

The Franz Kafka Monument is a statue by the Czech sculptor Jaroslav Róna. It was unveiled in 2003 and is about four meters high and weighs 700 kilograms. It's located right at the door of the Spanish Synagogue. It has a Kafakesque style: baffling, complicated, but deeply human, as if in search of understanding and comfort.
