Isabel de la Granja
Wonderful B&B
This B & B is just outside the historic center of York (outside the city wall) but are neither are more than a 5 minute walk. The locate is an advantage because if you are driving you can leave the car parked in front of the house and forget it until you leave. The Bronte Guesthouse is a traditional b&b, but with certain amenities: a nice bed, an LCD tv, a bathroom , your kettle to make coffee or tea in the room, a hair dryer and Internet access.
One thing to note is the peace of mind (unless other guests are loud, something that can not be predicted): in the street there is little traffic and the room overlooks the garden, which is very relaxing.
The English breakfast is plentiful with extra fruit and cereal pretty good coffee. York is also one of the most desirable cities in England to spend a couple of days. There are areas that maintain all the charm of the Tudor period, plenty of pubs and charming restaurants and a museum dedicated to the figure of the last Plantagenet king, Richard III.
