Protected area with a special flora and fauna

For more than 40 years, the park has failed to protect the ecosystem of the marshes due to the strict conservation program. Brière Nature Park is a protected area that has a large population of birds that in turn have a special habitat here. Brière Nature Park is very near to the French Atlantic coast, and therefore the water in the marsh is continually being renewed. There is an island called Fedrun which is in the center of this protected area. A large fishing shelter which has a whitewashed thatched roof, where vegetation is rampant.
