Briccius Kapelle

On accède à la chapelle de Briccius (1629 m) par une marche d'environ 1h30 au départ du parking Retschitzbrücke à Heiligenblut. Une balade très agréable avec vue sur la montagne et sur les villages dans la vallée. L'édifice doit son nom à Saint Briccius, qui d'après la légende aurait apporté le sang du Christ à Heiligenblut, et qui serait mort à l'endroit où s'élève maintenant la petite chapelle. S'y trouve également une source miraculeuse, sensée soigner les yeux notamment : la tradition veut que l'on se passe de l'eau sur les yeux, avant de reprendre son chemin. On peut également aller jusqu'aux cascades, en passant près des prés où broutent des vaches paisibles.

Access to the chapel Briccius (1629 m) with a walk about 1:30 am from the parking Retschitzbrücke Heiligenblut. A pleasant walk with views of the mountains and villages in the valley. The building is named after Saint Briccius, which according to legend brought the blood of Christ in Heiligenblut, and died at the spot where now stands the chapel. There is also a miraculous spring, sensible treat eye, including: a tradition that we pass water on the eyes, before resuming its path. One can also go to the waterfalls, passing near meadows where cows graze peaceful.
