Disembark

This city in the year 1590 had a strategic interest, both militarily and politically. It was conquered by the Spanish, during the reign of Philip II, but it was retaken by the Dutch on the evening of March 4th. Maurice of Nassau took the city with an army of 90 men who managed to scare away the Italian soldiers.

First trip to Holland

Since my grandfather was born there, I went on my first trip to Holland for a wedding. In the Grote Kerk, they baptized my grandfather, it was spectacular to walk through there and to forget the other beautiful places from north to south we saw Uffelte, Harderwijk. I'll go back!

Not much to see: A park beside the canal, an ancient castle that no longer has anything original, the cathedral and the streets of the town.

A Dutch town Breda.

Breda is a typical city of the Netherlands, a small place, friendly with a beautiful cathedral and old town which is nice but it is small compared to Rotterdam or Amsterdam. A city to spend a quiet day and eat well. In Molenstratt street just off this store is a local designer's very interesting that you should visit.

I"ve been living in Breda for 2 months, the truth is that the center is very peculiar and its streets have life, but you will not find anything too symbolic to travel from another country by plane just to see Breda. That if, if you are near, Rotterdam or Utrecht I recommend that you come to spend a day here, you will like it! :)
