Brecon Beacons National Park

1 review of Brecon Beacons National Park

An enchanting emerald landscape

Located in the South of Wales, this park offers the nature lover a pristine hillside setting that is nothing short of truly fabulous. Inside this magnificent, wildlife protected area are a few stunning Welsh mountains, the highest being the Pen y Fan (886 meters, and the highest point of the entire nature reserve), the Corn Du (873 m), the Cribyn (795 m) and the y Fan Big (719 m). There are many activities available to the adventurous tourist who wants to get to know this wilderness: hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, climbing, and along the rivers that irrigate the landscape, you can even try windsurfing or canoeing.
