Brechin Cathedral

Brechin Cathedral (full name of the Holy Trinity) is located in Angus and was built during the 13th century by pre-monastic orders from Ireland, which explains the existence of a separate round tower from the main architectural complex. During wars this cathedral suffered severe damage. The cathedral is active today (Anglican Church of Scotland), and has many elements of great historical importance, including Romanesque reliefs (such as the 4 nails of Christ), the central arches (Gothic) and some stained glass, considered the most important of the country. The cathedral is the main attraction of the city of Brechin, especially for scholars in the field.
