Amazing common rooms
Brasenose College, founded in 1509, is one of the colleges that make up Oxford University. It is a fairly small school founded by a lawyer, but you can study anything from science to law. It was built on the site of Brasenose Hall, one of Oxford's medieval institutions. Before it was just a place to stay, but it has become a place for learning.
We entered with one of the students and we were able to see the common rooms for the students. I was surprised at how nice they were; They had leather couches, flat screen computers, all was very clean and tidy. Below the buildings there are a total of three wineries. I'm sure it is a pleasure to study there!
The name Brasenose comes from brazen, the parts of the doors used to knock-- they were shaped like noses. They have about 150 graduated a year from Brasenose.
