The Brandenburg Gate is very beautiful, very well-lit, and full of tourists who walk and or are mounted on horse-drawn carriages, which makes everything even more beautiful. It is a symbol of freedom and unification of the two Germanies. It's beautiful and essential for anyone visiting Berlin to see.
On our first night in Berlin we decided to visit the heart of the city. One of the places we like the most was the Brandenburg Gate. The driver was so nice!! He took a few pictures and became one of us, the truth that the people there are very friendly. I recommend that if you can, take a limousine tour around the city.
This gate is a bear of a mythical place where East Berlin (Communist) and West (capitalist) were distributed. This important local event/military parade tells us what happened.
