More than just a library
Whether you’re looking for a place to study, read, relax, surf the web, or just a neat place to visit, the Brand Library is a good place for all of that. This is probably my favorite branch of the Glendale Public Libraries because it was a former home, has a homey feel to it, and because it’s nice to admire the architecture. There are large tables with plugs underneath, as well as comfortable cushioned seats in rooms resembling old-style living rooms. In addition to this, there is a small gallery in the building that visitors can view for free, and there are typically free weekly events that take place in the recital hall.
(There’s just so much to do!) It’s also in Brand Park, so a reading/study break is just a walk away.
