Popular local boba spot in the San Fernando Valley
Because Bounce is located right across a college campus, it tends to get immensely busy (with lines that go out the door) and packed on a daily basis, although it also depends on the time of the day. But if you’re patient enough (or fortunate enough to come at a time when hardly anyone is there), I’d say it’s worth the wait. Plus, the employees work pretty fast so I've hardly had to wait for more than a few minutes to get my order. (If you can get a seat inside, the place has some games available to play and a TV.)
I’m a fan of Bounce because the boba balls have a good texture and have a slight sweetness to them.
The taro is a favorite, and the rose tea is nice with a little herbal taste. There are also a bunch of fruity flavors available for those who aren't milk tea aficionados. The popcorn chicken and squid balls are also a nice addition to boba orders (although if you ask any level of spice, you never know what you’ll get. I've asked for “mild” before and was crying after one or two because it was way too spicy. So if you’re up for that uncertain spice, cool. If not, it’s safest to ask for these items without any spice).
