Boudhadwar-Marg

La Stupa de Boudhanath‎, es uno de los lugares más visitados de Katnamdú y donde al pasear por todo el conjunto te invade un sentimiento de paz y tranquilidad, pues bien, si quieres recobrar el ritmo "normal" al que estamos acostumbrados en Occidente..y algo más, siempre puedes darte un paseo por el barrio que hay a la salida de la Stupa, el Boudhadwar Marg. En este barrio se mezclan turistas, con nepalies, monjes, pedigüeños, tiendas, puestos de comida, frutas y carne. Te impresionará bastante el modo de despiezar las reses y sobre todo como están expuestas las vísceras y demás casquerías, ya que al parecer todo es aprovechable. El olor a veces supera a la vista, aunque nunca al enjambre de moscas que suele acompañar a las piezas de carne. Al ver las medidas sanitarias tan precarias, acabas planteándote si volverte vegetariano, al menos hasta volver otra vez a tu país..pero eso al cabo del rato se te olvida y triunfa el dicho de "lo que no mata engorda"..¿quien puede resistirse a los momos rellenos de carne?
