Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum

The Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum is a fun tour that provides an interactive learning experience about the history of the Boston Tea Party. The guides dress up in attire mirroring that of those during the 1700's and reenact events leading to the tea party. In the beginning of the tour, inside a meeting room resembling one in the 1700's, attendees receive a free quill and card containing information about a character from the time period. Once on the ship, you have the opportunity to “throw” boxes of tea off the ship as was done in 1773 (they’re tied onto rope so people can throw them overboard again and again), walk around, and ask questions.
