Medieval character
The charming town of Borce is one of the first towns you come to in the idyllic Vallée d'Aspe. The town, which has managed to preserve its medieval character, it perched atop a promontory overlooking the valley. Amid rustic mountain-style homes, you can find a small museum with all sorts of historical knick-knacks and an old hospital which currently serves as a resting point for pilgrims along the Way of St. James.
