Book Fair

Every year in the June the Expo Book Fair takes place in Viana do Castelo. Most characteristic of this fair are stands selling books that are installed along the Avenida Marginal gardens, but also other cultural acts take place, such as lectures, seminars, presentations of the latest literary works by their authors, children's activities to promote reading and even art exhibitions. The 2010 show was the 30th edition. This fair also coincides the "Lusophone" fair, which combines musical performances of various kinds.
