La Bonissima Statue

The Bonissima is a small statue dating back to around 1200, located high on a corner of the Town Hall on the Piazza Grande, Modena. It's a well-known statue in Modena, but if you don't know where it is, it's easy to miss. The legend tells of a woman, probably a noble, who helped the local people during a period of famine.
