Hotels in Florence
If Florence has one thing, it's hotels. I suggest Hotel Bonciani, although not great, but rather fine. The location is great, right next to the church of Santa Maria Novella and 5 minutes from the Duomo. This hotel has retained a classic Florentine style (as you can see in the entrance and reception). It has about 63 rooms, an American bar, meeting and conference rooms. The rooms have an individual bathroom. I tell you this because in many of the hotels or inns in Florence have a shared bathroom and that's nothing appealing. The room are single or double. If sightseeing is more desired, but as I say, going to Florence is rare that you remain in the room, so the use is minimal.
The breakfast is not a thing of another world but not bad, enough to recharge and hit the city. The price of the room was about 137 € for the double and the single was about 115 € for 3 nights and 4 days. Not bad considering that Florence is not very cheap to stay. But yes, it is beautiful by herself.
