8 reviews of Le Bombarde Beach

As beautiful as the Caribbean

Bombarde beach is one of the most famous and visited beach along the Riviera del Corallo and is perfect if you're travelling to Sardinia in search of crystal-clear water and convenience. And you don't need a long walk or complicated drive to reach it, unlike many of Sardinia's best beaches. Starting from Alghero, you need to head north to Fertilia (the city, not the airport) and follow the signs for Porto Conte - Capo Caccia for another mile or so until you see the signs for Bombarde.

The beach itself is undoubtedly lovely: white sand, turquoise water, pine forest, and, in many respects, just as beautiful as any beach in the Caribbean.

Le Bombarde beach (Spiaggia delle Bombarde)

Excellent

Is another popular beach of the Alghero area and Coral Riviera ('Riviera di Corallo' in Italian). Located less than a kilometer east of Lazzaretto beach, Le Bombarde beach boasts golden sands, volcanic rocks, clear and refreshing blue waters, a dense forest with maritime pines, eucalyptus, and other typically Mediterranean varieties.

So beautiful

In Alghero, there’s a popular beach known as Le Bombarde and it’s a great place to relax. If you go at the right time, it’s positively deserted and you can spend all day working on your tan and splashing around in the water. It’s so beautiful that it’s hard to remember you’re actually in Italy!
