El Valle de Maipú y la Bodega Rural
Solo para hacer una aclaración, el Valle de Maipú es en Mendoza y el Valle del Maipo es en Chile, ambos separados por los Andes, esta enorme montaña hace toda la diferencia en los sabores de los vinos. En Chile tienen el Carmenere y el Argentina el Malbec, y todo gracias a los Andes. Cuando el viento sopla del océano deja toda la humedad en el lado del Chile y a Argentina casi no le toca la humedad y esto ha hecho que los vinos sean muy diferentes, dependiendo del paladar de cada quién. Sí, esto lo aprendí del guía de la Bodega, esto y más, tanto que sería imposible poner aquí todo un curso sobre vinos, denominaciones de origen y sabores. Es mejor aprenderlo de los profesionales y es por esto que fui a Bodegas la Rural. Lo mejor es rentar una bicicleta, hay muchos lugares donde se rentan, tomar un mapa del Valle y explorar la zona, bodega por bodega. Esta fue de la que más me gustó, además que salimos con 3 botellas de vino que nos terminamos ese mismo día brindando con mis amigos que conocí en el hostal Itaka de Mendoza. Este fue mi último día en Mendoza y uno de los mejores del viaje, recorrer el valle de Maipú en bicicleta con mis amigos aprendiendo sobre vinos, es de las mejores experiencias que he tenido en todos los viajes que he hecho. Además que el vino que producen es de excelente calidad, yo me quedo con el Trumpeter y con el Rutini, lástima que donde vivo no lo pueda conseguir. ¡Salud!
