Authentic
A unique and authentic locale, one of the few remaining in Valencia, it’s in the heart of Cabanyal, a step away from the seashore. It remains the same, hopefully for many more years, this winery that on Saturday mornings has hoards of crowds waiting at the door.
When you sit at a table there are already pickles and regional hot chocolate waiting; What’s more they are accompanied by bravas (diced potatoes) and a typical salad of tomato, onion, black olives from Aragon, chopped garlic, extra virgin olive oil, salt and a drop of vinegar. The combination is exquisite, once you try it you will not forget it, I'm talking about the lunch that men of the area gobble down until 12 on any given morning.
