A historical tribute
Boudicca (or Boadicea, 30 AD - 61 AD), queen of Icènes, people of Britain, revolted against the Romans during the reign of Nero. Her statue is a symbol of British liberty, and stands next to statues of her two daughters, wielding a sword and riding a chariot. It is a work of Thomas Thornycroft dating back to 1850.
