Blue Pools

On the road to Wanaka from the west coast of New Zealand, a few kilometers from Haast Pass, we found these natural pools that are a deep blue colour, depending on the light. They are included in "101 things to see and do in New Zealand" but when I saw them, I did not think they were anything special and that the color was more like green. Anyway, the path that leads to them is nice and it takes less than half an hour, so I used the opportunity to take a small break.
