Blue Grotto: amazing caves in the cliffs
To the southwest of the island of Malta is the Blue Grotto, amazing caves in the cliffs. An access to a pier just outside Qrendi, is marked and is not hard to find. There are some boats going through the caves. It costs around 8 € to take a tour on one of these boats. The journey is great, plus you can see sea cliffs from accessing a set of caves where light is filtered and generates a gorgeous blue, hence the name.
