Jökulsárlón

Jokulsarlon Lagoon is a beautiful place. It's a lagoon in which you'll find pieces of ice that have detached from glaciers. The lake has an outlet to the sea and depending on the tide, this ice flows in and out. There's also sealife such as seals, a highly recommended visit as well as being beautiful by day and night thanks to the numerous Northern Lights that occur between October and March.

Spent several hours photographing the icebergs washed back up on the black sand beach.
