Big Island Hawaii

Actually, there is very little that can be said of Hawaii that is not already common knowledge. Almost any Hollywood film that features Paradise, will be filmed in Hawaii. I took pictures of the largest island which gives its name to the whole, Hawaii, or the Big Island. The island, instead of a "divide" between North and South, rather divides between West and East, the west side being "South", and warmer, on the island. Go see the Kilauea at night is a "must", the lava illuminates the steam coming out of the belly of the mountain like the entrance to the underworld. If you want to "get close" to the lava, take the route to the Holei Sea Arch, where a coastal road is abruptly cut across by a solidified lava tongue.
