Longest pedestrian bridge in the USA
The Big Dam Bridge in Little Rock, Arkansas is the nation's longest pedestrian bridge and crosses the Arkansas River. It's built above the Murray Lock Dam and offers some really gorgeous view of the river and the city in the distance. If you're an aspiring photographer, I couldn't recommend a better place to start in Little Rock than the Big Dam Bridge.
Other than the views, the bridge also makes for a nice place to jog or simply get some fresh air. The landings on either side of the Arkansas River are parks and are nice places for an evening stroll when the bridge is all lit up. In the end, it's just a bridge, but an especially unique and beautiful one and it makes for a great reference point when you're out and about in Little Rock.
