Beautiful and lively

This square, between the Grand Bazaar and Istanbul University, is one of the most beautiful and lively citywide. In Byzantine times it was called the Forum of Theodosius, and was the largest city forum. Today Turkish people, tourists, students and food vendors live here without problems. It's perfect to watch and browse, two older women feeding pigeons, classic Ottoman couples discussing, a pair of black rappers intersecting with two traditional Muslim ladies, adolescents preparing to leave a party.
