Bethesda Fountain

Bethesda Fountain is another place we found in Central Park! By coincidence, we were watching an episode of CSI New York, a series that we don't normally watch, a few days before our departure. The episode included a chase through Central Park, running around this fountain. This place is really beautiful and is a great place to relax with plenty of benches surrounding the fountain. It's located right next to Central Park Boathouse and Conservatory Water.

In the area north of the Mall in Central Park, near 70th Street, we find the area of Bethesda. It is dominated by a huge fountain featuring astatue called the "Angel of the Waters." The fountain has become famous thanks to the drama "Angels of America" ​​which also won a Pulitzer.
