Monastero dei Benedettini

Il monastero benedettino di Catania è una vera e propria oasi di pace all’interno di questa città altamente affascinante e sempre pronta a stupire ma che potrebbe anche causare un po’ di mal di testa a lungo andare. Si trova in centro, è abbastanza facile da raggiungere, ed è proprio bellissimo: ho ammirato soprattutto il porticato interno con il claustro e la fontana, bellissima, così bianca e finemente lavorata. È proprio un luogo che consiglio a tutti di visitare perché in Sicilia le bellezze architettoniche non mancano e questo monastero è uno dei luoghi imperdibili per gli amanti dell’arte e dell’architettura che si trovano a Catania, una bella pausa tra un arancino e l’altro lontano dal frastuono di abitanti e turisti.
