Bello Hostel

L'ostello bello si trova a metà tra il Duomo e i Navigli, in pieno Milano centro, ed è uno degli ostelli più belli ed accessoriati che abbia mai visitato. La qualità offerta si riflette subito (e forse un po' eccessivamente) nel prezzo: 28 euro un posto letto nella camerata da otto, mentre una doppia viene 80 euro a notte. L'unica cosa positiva riguardo queste tariffe atipiche per un ostello è che rimangono invariate durante tutto l'anno. Ogni camerata e ogni stanza ha il bagno privato e le stanze sono accessibili con un badge elettronico. All'arrivo viene offerto un drink di benvenuto (alcolico o non) e i ragazzi che gestiscono il posto (molto simpatici) ti spiegano come funziona l'ostello. Nel seminterrato c'è la sala comune con biliardino, libreria, tv e angolo strumenti musicali disponibili per jam sessions improvvisate. Al primo piano, dove c'è anche la "reception", la mattina viene allestita la colazione a buffet, ampia e di buona qualità; solo il cappuccino e il caffè espresso vanno pagati a parte. Nel tardo pomeriggio invece la sala si anima a ritmo di musica con l'aperitivo e molti milanesi scelgono proprio l'ostello bello per l'happy hour. L'intero edificio è stato ristrutturato, arredato e inaugurato da poco e pur non essendo economicissimo rimane una validissima opzione per dormire in centro a Milano rimanendo sotto i 100 euro.

The beautiful hostel is located halfway between the Duomo and the Navigli, in the heart of Milan city center, and is one of the nicest hostels I have ever visited and equipped. The quality offered is reflected immediately (and maybe a little 'too) in the price: 28 EUR one bed in the dormitory of eight, while a double is 80 euro per night. The only positive thing about these rates is atypical for a hostel which remain unchanged throughout the year. Each and every dorm room has a private bathroom and the rooms are accessible with an electronic badge. Upon arrival offered a welcome drink (alcoholic or not) and the guys who run the place (very nice) they explain how the hostel. In the basement there is a common room with table football, library, TV corner and musical instruments available for impromptu jam sessions. On the first floor, where there is also the "reception", the morning is served a buffet breakfast, large and of good quality; just cappuccino and espresso are paid separately. Late in the afternoon the room comes alive to the beat of music with many Milanese aperitif and choose just the beautiful hostel for happy hour. The entire building was renovated, furnished and recently opened and although not cheaply remains a valid option to sleep in the center of Milan remained below 100 euro.
