Convenient but ....
The Bedford Hotel is located next to Grand Central Station and close to Times Square and the Empire State Building. Rooms have mini-fridges, coffee makers, tea kettles and a tap. They're not too scrupulous in cleaning (but not dirty either). I spent a week and they didn't change the sheets once, not to mention vacuuming or cleaning the bathroom. The price is reasonable, somewhere around $200 a night if I remember correctly. If you are someone who values location more than cleaning at hotels, this may be the hotel for you. If you're a neat freak, avoid this hotel! The overall service is not good.
