Bedford Brussels Hotel
The first time I traveled to Brussels I stayed at the Bedford Hotel Brussels, which is a 4 star hotel that is a bit old, but still very convenient. It´s not easy to find a hotel in the center of Brussels at an affordable price. Its location is unbeatable: it is less than a 5 minute walk from L'Etuve Street (where you can find the Manneken Pis) and costs 55 € per night (for a double room) with breakfast included. The truth is that the hotel is not bad, although it is quite old, which can be clearly seen in its decor (lots of marble and gold) and outdated furniture. But we were very lucky, because although we had booked a double room, we were given a sort of quadruple room.
I mean, they were two rooms connected (although one had no window), each with two 90cm beds. The bathroom was also quite spacious with a large tub and double sink. It is a very large hotel, with 326 rooms, conference rooms, a large conference center, business center, gym, piano bar, parking for 200 vehicles and a small shop. The breakfast room was huge (they also do banquets) and the breakfast was pretty stocked-up with all kinds of pastries, assorted meats, natural fruit juices, assorted breads, yogurt, etc.. If you don´t mind staying in a hotel a little bit old, the Bedford is a good choice for you.
