A beautiful hotel
In the quiet and pretty village of Scourie, on the northwest coast of the Highlands (Scottish Highlands) the owners of the Bed and Breakfast Scourie Lodge and Gardens welcome you with a big smile and they "invite" you to stay in their magnificent house surrounded by manicured gardens.
The house is a treat to visit, with a history of aristocratic ancestors included, or at least that's how Gerald, the owner, tells the story. Gerald offered us a double room overlooking the beach with beautiful views, a bathroom and sitting room for 75 pounds a night. The next day he served us the overwhelming typical Scottish breakfast in a small room that was beautifully decorated, like the rest of the house, and a large window overlooking the garden. A highly recommended site if traveling through this area.
