Time magazine described this as the best beach in Asia in 2004. These gentlemen are smart because they're right. You leave the motorcycle or rickshaw at the end of the road, with a few fruit stalls and crafts, and walk down a path to the beach. The gentle breeze caresses your skin and you start to smell the sea. Palm trees and shrubs don't allow you to see the vast curve of white sand you're going to discover, and for a moment, it seems like time has stopped. It's not the white sand, the crystal turquoise waters, or the abrupt vegetation framing the end of the beach and the beginning of the jungle.
