Basilica of Wadowice

This basilica is the most important church in Wadowice. It's very close to the birthplace of Pope John Paul II. Here the pope, then a child, listened to his first mass and inside we can see references to him. Look out for the main entrance that has a large bronze sculpture of the Polish Pope. It's nice but nothing spectacular architecturally, the most important thing about it is its significance in the life of John Paul II
