Sunset Barqueta Bridge
Beautiful views. It is amazing how a sunset brings out the best in locations, making anywhere a place of dreams, a magical moment.

An evening of nocturnal photography with my friend Fernando Marrón in the centre of Seville. Summer temperatures, Canon 40D in hand with its Tamron 17-50 mm tripod and the blue hour, as we call it.
It is the right time of late afternoon, combining the colours of night with those of sunset, it is truly beautiful.
It is fully recommended a short walk around the edge of the Guadalquivir on a summer evening with a good serranito (cured ham) in the stomach and a good camera.
The monastery is full of amazing colours, from intense blues to electric purples and greens. A real nocturnal visual delight available to everyone.
It is the "Expo Bridge" because it was built for Expo 92 and acts as a link from the old town (starting at the end of the calle Resolana, close to La Macarena) to the island of La Cartuja, where the universal exhibition was located.
Currently, the technology park Cartuja 93 is installed, Isla Magica theme park and hotels like the Barceló Renacimiento, where the Evento Blog Spain 2007 took place.
It was funded by Mapfre (in fact, its official name is Mapfre Bridge) and designed by the architects Juan José Arenas de Pablo y Marcos Jesús Pantaleón Prieto, whom projected it as a suspension
It is certainly one of the most mythical sites of Seville, especially for those of us who are foreign.
It evokes memories of the Expo. We passed by where EventoBlog was celebrated, at the Hotel Barceló.
