Fills the spirit
After visiting Tibet, and with exhaustion from walking and altitude sickness (we were at 4000 m altitude) we needed to shop and bargain for souvenirs. It is a market that mounts daily in Barkhor Square and continued through the streets of Lhasa. It's great to see and hear people praying alongside with you, because remember that in the same square, fused with the market is Jokang Monastery (the most important Tibetan Buddhist monastery). It is a continuous activity in which you are immersed right away. What you can you find there?, For behold, from the most beautiful shop full of gems, to a place with human hair, a house full of cheese (it's in the photos), through the typical figures of Buddha and following with all kinds of clothes, pendants and Tibetan flags with Buddhist prayers inscribed on them (this is a gift you need to buy).
