Bar Penalty

Uno de los bares más concurridos de la ciudad de Valdepeña, no solo por su excelente ubicación ( la plaza de España) sino también por las exquisitas tapas manchegas y los celebres vinos de Valdepeñas, es el bar penalty, que se encuentra ubicado bajo los soportales de dicha plaza. El Bar Penalty es también conocido como la antigua taberna Casa Álvarez que fue fundada en el año 1928, aquí se pueden degustar un buen surtido de pinchos y también hay raciones muy recomendables como los champiñones y la sepia a la plancha. Si quieres comer, también puedes elegir un menú diario compuesto de 10 primeros y 10 segundos. En el exterior podemos sentarnos alrededor de los barriles y contemplar el trasiego diario de la plaza mientras mientras degustamos tapas en un ambiente muy animado. El servicio es muy atento y los precios tienen muy buena relación con su calidad.

El bar en la plaza de Valdepeñas es el peor bar con diferencia de los que he estado. Fuimos a comer de menú un fin de semana y es el mismo menú que entre semana pero sólo por ser fin de semana cuesta 2€ más, pensábamos que era porque tendría algo mejor pero no era así. Tardaron en atendernos y servirnos la comida 1 hora y media y la calidad de la comida no podía ser peor, una vergüenza.

The bar in the Plaza de Valdepeas is the worst bar unlike ever. We went to eat men a weekend and it is the same men that during the week but only for being weekend costs 2 ms, pensbamos it was because you'll get better but it was not so. It took in serving us and serve food 1 hour and a half and the quality of food pruning not be worse, a shame.
