On the route of the white villages
The town of Setenil has historic wineries and is on the route of the white villages, it has archaeological features that take us back to the Neolithic period. In Roman times it was called Laccipo then during the Arab domination it got its current name. In 1484 it was added by the Catholic Monarchs to the crown of Castile, and this decision was considered to be fundamental for the conquest of the kingdom of Granada.
