El Giralda Tapas Bar

My husband and I have been for tapas in this locale. We loved it: It is different from the typical tapas, and although not the cheapest the price is affordable.

Its right next to the Giralda, the service was excellent and the tapas delicious.

We ordered the mushrooms pie, stuffed courgette, camembert cheese with prawns, the salmorejo and the patatas importancia (essentially a stew of seasoned fried potatoes with egg and flour): all recommended!

This bar, in front of the Giralda, is a delicatessen for the senses.

There are typical Andalusian cuisines, such as salmorejo, all kinds of dressings and one in particular that is divine: grandmas patatas a la importancia, made with the broth of puchero (essentially a stew of seasoned fried potatoes with egg and flour)... try them, trust me, they’re worth it although a little more expensive than other tapas bars in the city.
