Calicantus Duomo

Once you reach the Piazza della Vittoria, it would be almost impossible not to succumb to the temptation to stop in one of the bars under the porches. The Calicantus is just inside the arcades around the corner from the cathedral, and offers a young and fresh atmosphere. You can sit at the tables under the arcades, or in the inner room, and enjoy a quiet coffee or a cocktail. On the wall, a verse has been printed in large letters, written by the famous poet Ada Negri, who is celebrated in many places around the town, especially in the Ospitale Piazza.
