Next to the beach
One of the most spectacular castles in the UK for the simple reason that it is located on the beach, on a hillside where a long time ago there was a settlement of the tribe of the Britons. At the same spot with the arrival of the Normans the construction of the castle began. It is located on the coast of Northumberland (North - East) in front of the Holy Island or Lindisfarne and with time, became the headquarters of the Kings of Northumberland. In a perfect state of conservation, the visit lasts approximately 3 to 4 hours, without counting the beach, which can give some great rides (counting on good weather and its incelemency in this area).
