Baluard de Sant Pere

Una de las mejores maneras de comenzar el paseo por la ciudad de Girona es a través de esta parte de la muralla que se conoce como Baluard de Sant Pere. Un excepcional mirador al barrio de la Força, pero sobre todo a la catedral y las iglesias de Sant Feliu y Monasterio de Galligants. La imagen de Girona desde aquí te deja enganchado para siempre. Siguiendo la rampa llegamos a la bonita Iglesia de Santa Lucia y a partir de aquí se suceden las bajadas y las escaleras de caracol hacia el Jardín de Jonh Lennon y la zona de Sant Feliu, una sucesión de calles y rincones de postal. Recomendable empezar por aquí, porque así vamos bajando ya que la ciudad vieja es una auténtica "rompepiernas". Pasear por estos antiguos baluartes, así como la muralla en general nos ayudará a entender la belleza de la ciudad de Girona.
