BAL Hotel & Spa

I can begin my review in no other way than by praising this magnificent accommodation, where I chose to spend my last days of single life.

Located in the town of Quintueles belonging to Villaviciosa, but closer to Gijon. It is easy to get to, since it lies at the crossroads of the town leading to the famous Ñora beach.

It is a very well equipped hotel. When I stayed there it had only been open a month, smelled new in every corner, everything was perfect. Personally I loved it and this after outwardly it not seeming so luxurious and so beautiful.

My room was a junior suite, among things to highlight, no doubt, the dressing table or the Tassimo coffee maker, in the bathroom Chopard-brand products and a grand television, plus an ample lounge area ideal for a good room service dinner.

It is one of the hotels chosen in our journey through the Cantabrian coast. It was a pleasant surprise to find this five star hotel, outside of Gijón, ten miles away, but still so close. It also has the Nora beach four kilometres away, which is lovely.

The hotel has good service, exquisite decor and very well laid out rooms. We stayed in a Junior Suite, as we travelled with a child, and we loved it. We made use of the gym and spa, and well.

It pays to be in the lounge during the late afternoon, and have a beer surrounded by Becara furniture; it makes it more welcoming.

I was there when it had only been open a short time. Good in general, both the rooms and the terraces, and the area is very quiet, the only thing that is a bit weak is the spa, too small, and without more intimate areas!
