Bakpak Hostel Kyoto
The Hostel Bakpak was where I stayed my first 2 days in Kyoto because both my first and second option, the J and Ks Hoppers Hostel were full. This hostel is perfectly situated close to the River and the center of Kyoto, near the nightlife area with many shops and restaurantess, as well as Historic Places. One can get there with relative ease , as well as the park. The atmosphere and decor is a bit strange, dedicated to famous manga, but it does have charm. The kitchen is small and the rooms are good, where you can have 4 people in a small living room with sofa and TV. It is a good choice but I prefer the J Hoppers Hostels, to which I would move have moved to after those first 2 nights.
