Baklava
One of the most famous sweets in Turkish cuisine is Baklava - thin wafers of pasta, brushed with butter, folded, and stuffed with cream and pistachios/walnuts. They are baked are covered in syrup. There are different kinds, depending on the variety and quantity of nuts with, shape and the amount of syrup: Sultan, nest and nightingale. They can be purchased in bakeries and prices vary greatly depending on where you buy.
