    Amazing Views of the City

    It is the tallest building in the city, which also happens to be a hotel with 88 floors. We had dinner, with buffet, and the top floor is a wrap-around terrace so you can see all the parts of the city. I have some night time photos and others when were around for the day.

    Sin duda, espectacular. El hotel mas alto de Bangkok, situado estratégicamente en la zona de Pratunam, muy cercan de centros comerciales como MBK, cerca del Siam Center, cerca del Sogo, ... Las vistas desde su mirador giratorio por encima de la planta 88 son simplemente espectaculares. Desde aquí puedes apreciar toda la ciudad y mas allá. Descubres los altos edificios y conviviendo en armonía a sus pies los hogares más humildes de la ciudad. Es una combinación estraña ver todo esto. La primera visión es así, piensas que es una ciudad super moderna y cuando te fijas detenidamente en el suelo o sacando todo el zoom de tu cámara descubres casas incluso en ruinas. Lo cierto es que es una buena manera de ver la ciudad a vista de pájaro. No existe lugar mejor para hacerlo en Bangkok que el hotel Baiyoke. Estuvimos comiendo en el restaurante que era buffet y creo que era el más variado de todos los lugares donde fuimos, además, barato. Es una buena opción si estas por allí y si tienes paciencia para subir las 88 plantas de este edificio, aunque no creáis que tarda mucho. No puedo hablar mucho del resto del hotel porque no nos alojamos aquí pero mirando por internet no parece un hotel demasiado caro y realmente lo que pudimos ver estaba bastante bien. Eso sí, no es un hotel como el Shangri-la o Mandarín. Bueno aquí os dejo algunas fotos de las vistas y algún vídeo. Saludos.
    No doubt, spectacular. The Bangkok tallest hotel, strategically located in the Pratunam area, very encircling of malls like MBK, Siam Center near, near Sogo, ... The views from the lookout above the rotary plant 88 are simply spectacular. From here you can see the whole city and beyond. You discover the tall buildings and living in harmony with their feet poorer households in the city. It's a strange combination of all this. The first view is well, think it's a super-modern city and when you look carefully on the ground or taking full zoom your camera even discover homes in ruins. The truth is that it is a good way to see the city as the crow flies. There is no better place to do in Bangkok Baiyoke Hotel. We were eating in the restaurant which was buffet and I think that was the most varied of all the places we went, well, cheap. It is a good choice if you're out there and if you have patience to climb the 88 floors of this building, but do not think it takes much. I can not say much about the rest of the hotel because we did not stay here but looking for a hotel internet seems not too expensive and really what we saw was pretty good. Yes, it is a hotel like the Shangri-La or Mandarin. Well here are some pictures of the sights and some video. Greetings.

    A mole with soul

    Una mole con alma

    Nosotros estuvimos alojados allí en el año 2008. Las habitaciones eran baratas y amplísimas. La decoración normalita y un poco descuidada. Lo mejor: las vistas y los restaurantes de las últimas plantas (surtido impresionante y de buena calidad). Tuvimos un problema con el cuarto de baño y lo arreglaron de forma muy diligente. Los alrededores del hotel muy curiosos: estás en un barrio comercial pero sin turistas, todo muy "local". En la calle había multitud de tenderetes y puestos ambulantes con ropa, comida... Quedan cerca (unos minutos a pie) los grandes centros comerciales como el MBK. En resumen, cuando vuelva a Bangkok volveré al Baiyokee (me dan igual los lujos asiáticos... lo mio es lo práctico).

The best: the sights and restaurants on the top floors (stunning assortment of good quality). Had a problem with the bathroom and it was fixed in a very diligent. The area around the hotel very curious: you're in a commercial district but tourists, all very "local". In the street there were plenty of stalls and stalls with clothes, food ..... Are close (within walking distance) the big malls like MBK. In short, when you return to Bangkok Baiyokee (sudan me the luxuries Asian ... mine's the practical) Greetings

    Htel impersonal but huge rooms and many...

    Hôtel impersonnel mais chambres ...

    Hôtel impersonnel mais chambres immenses et bien équipées. La vue est par contre exceptionnelle. Depuis l'hôtel et surtout depuis le sommet qui tourne sur une plateforme. C'est une vue à 360 sur BKK. Possibilité de monter sans séjourner à l'hôtel. (Payant)
