Leo&Vero
An economical place
This guesthouse is just as economical as Lonely Planet led us to believe. The price for a decent-sized room starts at 600 baht; alternatively, if you're not claustrophobic, you can have a single room for 250 baht, although you might struggle to have enough space for your luggage! We tried to spend a night in one of the single rooms, and it was a nightmare: tiny bed, noisy ceiling fan, no window ... anyway, you know that Bangkok is more expensive than the rest of Thailand, and this guesthouse offers a space to relax on the veranda and enjoy some fresh air, a rich library of tourist books and brochures, and clean bathrooms.
Wifi is extra (30 baht / hour, 120 baht / day). If you're not satisfied by the quality / price ratio here, try going to nearby Chinatown to try your luck.
