A setting of incomparable beauty
Azenhas is the name for that water mills that are in a setting of incomparable beauty not only during summer but also during the autumn months with the falling of the leaves. There is a large picnic area where the mills are. Water mills are located to pass the "Roman bridge" a mere 100 meters to the left and are almost in ruins, but the scenery is beautiful, the proof is in these accompanying pictures. Very close to the village is a small river beach where a small bridge is currently being built to access the other side where the water mill is. There are also some stone tables and a "stall" (but it had closed).
However, in the village there is a nice cafe with beautiful mosaics of what was formerly a villa with a tower in honor of the seventeenth century and other landscapes in the area.
